Here are short descriptions of the different workshops

Discover your strengths: Wednesday 27-09-2017 15:00-16:30
‘So,what are your strengths and weaknesses? What are you good at? What is your best quality?’
Employers love to know all about you in order to assess if you would fit in the team and organization.
But, do you know all about you? Do you know how to talk about your strengths? Do you know what to say when they ask you about your weaknesses? This workshop uses the core quadrant by Daniel Ofman as its basis. After the workshop you know what your top qualities are, how to deal with your weaknesses and how to talk about yourself in a professional way. You will also start up your personal profile, which is useful for your whole (studying) career and further workshops about CV, LinkedIn and job interviews.

CV/Cover letter tips & tricks: Wednesday 22-11-2017 15:00-16.30
This workshop lets you get your CV in better shape! You will learn all about a CV format and
contents. Next to your CV, your cover letter is your personal advertisement. After the workshop you know which criteria to follow while writing your letter.
Since CV’s and cover letters are personal, you will also learn how you can emphasize your strengths and use the vacancy text to stand out more.

Do you have a LinkedIn account, but hardly use it? You have uploaded a photo, made some
connections and you don’t know the next step to take?
This workshop will help you get the best out of your profile! After the workshop you will know which part of LinkedIn is essential for students, how to be found by recruiters, how to set up your personal brand and how to use LinkedIn for job or internship hunting.
Please bring your own tablet or laptop to the workshop and make sure that you create a (basic)
LinkedIn account prior to the start of the workshop.
